Welcome to Pacific Speech and Language!
At PSL, we work with children ages 6 months and up. We have been providing speech-language services for children and their families since 2002.
We specialize in:
- Motor speech disorders (articulation disorders, apraxia, etc.)
- Language disorders and language delays, including "late talkers"
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Augmentative communication (speech output devices, picture exchange/PECS, etc.)
- Preverbal communication delay in infants and toddlers
We have experience with children from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Research shows that speech-language treatment helps children with delays and disorders communicate better. Even children who are not talking yet can benefit from speech-language intervention. The earlier a child begins treatment, the better the outcome will be.
A major goal of each treatment session is establishing a social connection with the child while having lots of fun! Each child's treatment plan is individualized for maximum progress on communication goals.
